Favorite site or activity to guide and why?
I love guiding in Jerusalem, being a part of the reaction of seeing the holy sites for the first time. As Jerusalem is my home-town I love to share it with you, and show you the city through my eyes. Since I live today at Kibbutz Degania A’ (the first kibbutz with it’s unique history) this also a spot that I love showing my gusts in the country.
What’s your best tip for first time visit in Israel?
If you are coming to Israel for the first time, whether you are Jewish, Christian or even secular, leave Jerusalem for the end of the visit. Make it the climax of the visit to Israel.
Favorite Jewish/Israeli historical figure and why?
The prophet Moshe, who knew how to be attentive to the needs of the common people and the leaders of the twelve tribes alike. He knew how to be tough and militant to protect his people when needed. And he maintained his modesty throughout his life, even after many years of leadership, being the great leader that he was.
