My favourite site is Magdala since I started working there as guide/volunteer in 2015. Magdala is a very interesting site, at the crossroads of Jewish and Christian history where you can see an ancient synagogue next to a modern church. It is full of contrasting archeology and architecture, baptismal fonts and ritual baths abound. Magdala has so much to offer to all mankind.

You’d be surprised how essential a good hat can be in Israel! Beyond that, bring a bible with you on your trip and see the passages come alive in real time!

My favourites are Eli Cohen and Avigdor Kahalani for what they did for the State of Israel, and for their love of their nation.
