Favorite site or activity to guide and why?

My favorite site to guide is the Bullet Factory “Machon Ayalon”. It shows something that I love about Israel and my people. It’s this amazing story that is told so beautifully through the rooms and machines, and when you visit the factory, it feels like you are also part of the story—the story of people who gave it all.

What’s your best tip for a first-time visit to Israel?

A good tip I would give is about Tel Aviv. I think it is best to experience the city on foot. Leave the car/ bus behind.  And go where your feet take you. Also, to use public transport,  to go out to bars and restaurants, and talk to random Israelis. This is the best way to understand this incredible city.

Favorite Jewish/Israeli historical figure and why?

If I had to choose one, I would choose Golda. Golda Meir is the first and at this point only female prime minister & she is mainly remembered today for the Yom Kipur war. But she was so much more than that; she was a female leader in a time when it was not obvious at all. She was the first person who saw the potential in the Jewish community in the Soviet Union and the first person to go there and tell them they are welcome here.
