I founded Touring Israel in 2004 and have served as its CEO ever since. After earning my doctorate in Ancient History from Tel Aviv University, I spent nearly two decades as a licensed tour guide, leading thousands of travelers across every corner of the country. Today I focus on the strategic direction of the company, training and mentoring our guide corps, and personally leading select private tours for clients who want the deepest possible connection to the land, its history, and its people.

What I love most is watching a visitor’s perception of Israel transform over the course of a single trip. People arrive with images shaped by headlines; they leave having walked the same ridges as King David, tasted wine from vines planted on ancient terraces, and shared a meal in a Druze village. That shift, from news-cycle Israel to lived Israel, never gets old for me.

I always recommend spending real time in the Galilee and the Golan Heights. Most itineraries rush through the north, but this is where biblical history, military history, winemaking, farm-to-table cuisine, and breathtaking landscapes converge in one compact region. A full day exploring Tel Dan, the Banias waterfall, and a boutique Golan winery is worth rearranging an entire schedule for.

Beit She’an. It’s one of the most spectacular Roman and Byzantine archaeological sites in the entire Mediterranean basin, yet most travelers have never heard of it. When you stand in the restored amphitheater and look down the colonnaded Palladius Street, you feel the scale of this ancient city in a way that rivals Pompeii or Ephesus, but without the crowds.

Context. Anyone can stand at the Western Wall or float in the Dead Sea. What turns a visit into a lifelong memory is understanding the layers beneath your feet: the geology, the archaeology, the human stories. That’s what a great guide provides, and it’s the reason I built this company around scholarship, storytelling, and personal connection rather than logistics alone.

I serve as the Head of Marketing and Sales. My role involves overseeing our digital brand presence, managing content creation, and directly guiding our inbound clients through the journey of designing their trips. From the initial consultation to crafting bespoke, tailor-made itineraries, I ensure every element of the planning process is entirely seamless, professional, and white-glove.

I have a deep, personal love for Israel, and I truly believe there is nothing like experiencing the energy and beauty of this land for yourself. Israel has an incredible depth that you can only feel when you step away from generic, checklist travel. I find so much joy in taking your personal vision and translating it into a private, custom journey that connects you directly to the real heart, people, and rhythm of the country. There is nothing more rewarding than bringing people here and watching them fall in love with the land just as I have.

I always recommend a private culinary experience, such as a curated lunch or dinner with Chef Tal. Israel’s Mediterranean and regional food scene is incredibly vibrant and dynamic. Experiencing the country through its flavors, local ingredients, and world-class hospitality offers a sophisticated, sensory connection to the culture that you simply cannot get from standard dining.

While many go straight to the major historic centers, the absolute tranquility of the Negev desert, specifically Mitzpe Ramon, is a true hidden gem. Standing on the edge of the Ramon Crater, the quietness is almost spiritual, and the insane, craterous views can mesmerize you for days on end. From the incredible Six Senses Shaharut resort nestled seamlessly in the middle of nowhere, the desert provides a level of architectural beauty, natural surroundings, and quiet luxury that most international travelers completely miss.

A trip becomes unforgettable when you don’t have to worry about a single logistical detail because an on-the-ground advocate is managing everything behind the scenes. This creates the space for true presence, allowing you to slow down and experience macro-moments that stay with you for a lifetime.

I’m a Tour Coordinator, which means I bring every piece of a journey together, from the first step in the Holy Land to the final farewell. I make sure each itinerary flows seamlessly, balancing logistics with meaningful experiences. The greatest privilege of my role is that every itinerary introduces me to remarkable places and extraordinary people.

Designing trips in Israel never feels repetitive because the country reveals something new every single time. As someone who recently made Israel my home, I’m still discovering the country alongside our travelers. Israel has a remarkable ability to leave an impression on everyone, regardless of age, religion, background, or political views. No one leaves quite the same person they were when they arrived.

I always recommend experiences that aren’t on a typical sightseeing checklist. Meet locals, share a meal, visit a community, volunteer for a few hours, or simply sit down for coffee and listen to someone’s story. Those genuine personal connections often become the moments people remember most. Our greatest treasures are both history and people.

If I had to choose one place, it would be Mount Tabor. I still remember the first time I stood at the top and looked out over the Galilee. It was one of those moments that made me fall in love with Israel a little more.
