Favorite site or activity to guide and why? There are so many sites that fascinate me. For instance, no matter how many times I guide visitors in Jerusalem, the city always fascinates me! There are also many lesser known sites like Tsipori, Zichron, and Tel Hazor that punch way above their weight in terms of beauty and history. One thing is for certain, Israel is never dull.

What’s your best tip for first time visit in Israel? Start the trip at an observation point, like the Haas Promenade in Jerusalem. There you will be greeted by a stunning panorama encompassing both modern and ancient Jerusalem. That perspective will help you appreciate and better understand everything that you see on the rest of the trip.

Favorite Jewish/Israeli historical figure and why? There are so many, from King Saul, to King Herod, as well as Baron Rothschild, Ahad Ham, and Ben Gurion. All of these historical figures, from wildly different eras, left an indelible imprint on modern day Israel.
