From the initial enquiry, suggestions based upon our interests, planning, arrival, touring and departure the whole experience was exceptional. Our guide Ron made the whole experience memorable. It was very personalised and lived up to the name of luxury day tours. We arranged 4 consecutive day tours based out of Jerusalem, including in Jerusalem and outside. The only downside was that it was not enough days, but perhaps next time. We felt safe the whole time and able to fully enjoy a wonderful country. Shane Evans, Australia

We spoke with several travel planning companies before selecting Touring Israel for our 2 week tour of Israel at the end of June. Our first introduction to the company was thru Jonathan and he was very open and straightforward about what Touring Israel had to offer. We were impressed. Joe Yudin, the owner of the company, and his assistant Adi, worked with us on our detailed itinerary and hotel selections. We were grateful for how patient Joe was with all our questions and how transparent he was about the costs of the specific activities in our itinerary. Touring Israel’s website has bios of its guides, some with associated videos. We liked that we could know a little bit about our guide before we met him and have a sense that he would be a good fit for us. We were two families traveling together with four kids ages 11 to 15. Phil was our incredibly awesome guide for the entire trip. (We also had a separate driver and a very comfortable mini-bus). Phil is an engaging storyteller and so very knowledgeable about the history and culture of what we were seeing. He was great with both the adults and the kids, keeping us interested and on track (since we tried to cram a lot into our 13 days of touring). He put in some long days to make sure we had the lay of the land, and definitely went “above and beyond” each day. Phil is genuine, warm and caring and we hope we will have the opportunity to cross paths with him again. He exceeded our expectations in every way. One thing that sets Touring Israel apart from other companies is the unique experiences that they offer in addition to the standard must sees. A few that stood out for us were: Guy Sharett and his Graffiti/Steetwise Hebrew Tour in Tel Aviv; the Lebanon Border tour with retired Col. Kobi Marom; our visit to an IDF base; and Tali Friedman with her Machene Yehuda Tour & Cooking experience. We had an amazing trip, thanks to Phil and Touring Israel, and we look forward to visiting Israel again. Lisa P, Visited June 2015

Everything from the start was first class. From Gil who set up the itinerary and changed it several times to suit our requests and interests to Adi who then booked the hotels and activities to our amazing guide Daphne everything was Great. All were extremely knowledgable and helpful. The whole tour was tailored to what we wanted to do and see and when our super guide Daphne thought we might like something different than what was originally planned it was changed “on the fly” and turned out great. If you are planning a trip to Israel, these are the people to take care of it for you. A traveller from Winnipeg, Canada, Visited August 2015

Touring Israel is simply the only way to go when traveling to Israel. We came as a group of 6 for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. Every aspect of the tour was planned with such precision it was simply amazing and unlike any other trip we had ever been on. Our tour guide, Yoni, had encyclopedic knowledge of everything we needed to know on the tour and made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout it. No detail was too small and no request was too big. It was simply an amazing experience.

Maria, Thank you for your successful efforts! We leave in 40 minutes! It’s been the trip of a lifetime! We have been on many fabulous holidays but none that affected our souls as deeply. Israel and the Holy Land are beautiful gifts to all our senses and to our hearts Please thank Daphne again as she was incredible. I’ve just edited our photos and over 90% confirm that we were at these sites almost completely alone to hear her detailed lessons and engage in our questions. Honest to every detail she told us when she needed to check her answers and as days passed she went over sights and facts as we passed them again to reinforce the accuracy of our memory and her education! That is the mark of a dedicated teacher! Thank her again for Cana and the opportunity to renew our wedding vows 36 years latter!! Very emotional! I have been sending parts of our journal and photos almost daily to friends and family. I feel certain you will soon see some of them. Please give our sincere thanks to whoever arranged our upgraded accommodation for our last night in Israel. We were exhausted but very appreciative. Shabbat Shalom, Happy Shavuot! Thank You and Best Wishes, Maria Fawcett M.D. Colleyville, TX

Dear Ari, Many thanks for your most excellent service to our group. It was always a pleasure to be so well informed by you. And your choice of places to visit was impeccable. You are a fine guide and an Israeli patriot. And good humoured to boot. All qualities to be greatly admired. Best Wishes Brian ( Ben-Zion ) Kantor New York, NY

Joe, At my desk. 10am nyt. first order of business….is to thank you. you really made israel a truly memorable experience for me and my family. there are so many take aways. on the ride from jfk to our apt, i listened to the kids go over their highlights of the trip. they covered just about everything… from masada, to yad vashem to shabbat to the power gliding to the market shopping and lunch. for me, it was all the history that you shared and the passion with which you presented. i loved all of the history. the headlines in the am. but the most important was getting to know you and your history. and to know that i got to spend 9 days with a real hero of israel. I look forward to our next meeting. Lehitraot. Jay Mantz New York, NY

I had 1 and 1/2 days in Jerusalem after completing a medical mission in Palestine. I selected this company after reviews on TripAdvisor. I requested a christian guide who spoke english. I requested a private individual tour as I wanted to see as much as possible in a very short period of time. I never expected that the agenda I planned could be accomplished and it was. Daniel was my guide. He picked me up early from my hotel and started the day at King David’s Tomb. Within a few hours we covered nearly the entire Old City. I walked the fourteen stations of the cross, viewed the site of the crucifixion, annointing, burial, etc. We shopped, ate lunch, Western Wall, St. Peter’s church, etc. Then we left for Mount Olive, Garden of Gethsemane, and the Garden Tomb Sanctuary. The tour ended when the sun went down. We started up again early the next day driving to Jericho and visiting every historic site around the city. We then drove to the Jordan river to the famous baptism site. Then on to the Dead Sea. Lunch and shopping. Then to Curam to the site of the famous Dead Sea Scrolls. At my request we drove back to Jerusalem so that I could see the acutal Dead Sea Scrolls at the Israeli Museum. Again the sun was setting when the second day of touring ended. I took 780 photos. This tour was very fast paced but that is what I requested. Daniel was so knowlegable on the the historic sites and locations. He honored my request to see as much as possible and in most cases “read later.” I had the best time. I know that to tour the sites we visited would normally take 4-5 days. Maybe when I travel again with my family I will go at a slower pace but for this trip I feel like I just about “saw it all.” Lyn works for Touring Israel and she called frequently before and during the tour to make sure everything was going well. Jonathan helped me make the reservation and he was very helpful. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend this company and be sure to request a guide who speaks your language and shares your faith. Craig Anderson Tulsa, OK

With a very limited time to plan our trip to Israel, we were concerned about how to organize and arrange all details. A search of the internet and reviews of previous travelers revealed the solution to our concerns — Touring Israel Private Tours! Gil, our assigned tour guide, quickly assured us that ALL details would be taken care of. He emailed a draft itinerary — it covered all we wanted to see! From the moment we arrived in Tel Aviv at 5a.m. (!) to the sad moment we departed 7 days later, Gil and his colleagues at Touring Israel assured that we had the trip of a lifetime. Sunrise in Old Jaffa with fresh coffee and fresh baked treats, tours through the Old City streets, trips to the local markets, all of the knowledge that Gil shared, our journey to Masada and the Dead Sea, visits to some of the world’s top museums, partaking in delicious local cuisine, an impromptu visit to Israel’s first kibbutz — the list goes on! We so appreciate all Gil and Touring Israel did to take the stress out of planning and providing us an Incredible Journey through Israel. We highly recommend Touring Israel Private Tours and especially Gil. Sharon Larsen Chicago, IL
