Favorite site or activity to guide and why?
I love guiding in the ancient cities of Acre (Akko) and Safed (Tzfat). Each city has its own unique story and atmosphere that blends history, spirituality, and multiculturalism. In Acre, I enjoy sharing the layers of Crusader, Ottoman, and modern history, while in Safed, I love immersing visitors in the mysticism and art that fill the city’s alleyways. These sites allow visitors to experience the rich tapestry of Israel‘s diverse heritage.
What’s your best tip for a first-time visit to Israel?
I highly recommend experiencing Israel through a multi-dimensional tour that combines nature, cultural immersion, and spiritual moments. By exploring diverse regions and tasting local flavors, visitors can better understand Israel’s complex history and vibrant culture. A trip to Israel is most impactful when it includes a bit of everything—nature, food, spirituality, and diverse cultural interactions.
Favorite Jewish/Israeli historical figure and why?
One figure I greatly admire is Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, the father of modern Hebrew. His efforts to revive Hebrew as a spoken language embody the resilience and spirit of Zionism. Through his dedication, he connected generations to their heritage and created a unifying cultural foundation for modern Israel. Ben-Yehuda’s work remains a lasting testament to the power of language and identity.
