My favorite site is Masada, I think this unique, one of kind site is truly amazing and I think I can narrow it down to 3 main reasons – 1) Location – a remote isolated cliff top above the lowest point on earth 2) Ancient ruins from 2000 years ago that are in very good condition, and 3) The dramatic story that took place here many years ago.

Tip for first timers – Make sure you follow the map as you travel through Israel, Israel is a small country but very diverse, when you follow the map and understand the different geographical units the country is made from it will make your understanding of the land and its history better.

David Ben Gurion – made some brave decisions and was the right person at the right time to lead us to Independence, in addition when you visit his house in the Negev you can see his humility and simple life style.
